Back To School After 50!

Anyone else decided they want more from themselves than they have previously expected?

After being out of school for well over 30 years, I’ve decided to take the plunge. I’m starting with a certification program provided through my workplace, but who knows what I’ll do after that. I figured I’d choose something “light” to see how well I can manage it all. I’m hoping to develop my career skills and just see where it leads.

If there’s one thing I’ve taken away from the strange events of the last few years, it is that I can not depend on outside factors to see my dreams come to pass. I’ve decided to pray and let God guide me, but I also feel like I have to move forward, even if I’m not exactly sure which direction I should be going in. I tend to struggle with too many ideas at once and not much action at all. I’ve decided to just take the next obvious step on the road I’ve found myself.
